The Art of Water

The Teton Arts Council is joining with Friends of the Teton River in celebrating our two most precious resources--freshwater and creative minds.  We are looking for artists who would like the opportunity to display their freshwater themes in an exhibition in the Driggs City Center. This show will coincide with the FTR event on March 24th and hang through June.

We hope to receive artwork from a wide variety of mediums - photography, painting, sculpture, music, poetry, prose, etc.  -- to display/perform work that celebrates the beauty and role of water in the Teton River Watershed and surrounding areas.  We are particularly interested in work that illustrates  the relationship between water and agriculture in Southeast Idaho;  work that celebrates the beauty and importance of the snow form of water to our valley; work that shows the many forms water takes throughout our four seasons; and work that showcases the beauty and vitality of our local rivers and streams, and the many forms of recreation and wildlife they support.

We will be collecting pieces on Friday, March 12th, 3p - 7p at Alpine Wines in conjunction with the TAC Art Gallery drop-off

If you have an questions about the exhibition please call 208.354.4ART or email TAC at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

New Art Center

The Teton Arts council is working hard to create an arts center in downtown Driggs. A central location with easy access for children and adults will help us to better serve the community. We anticipate that this center will be a thriving cultural hub that offers artistic education and opportunity to all valley residents. Please help us design this center by taking this quick survey. Your feedback is very valuable to us.

Our Sponsors

Many of the programs offered by The Teton Arts Council would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors.  We greatly appreciate your support and participation.

We are equally grateful for the countless members of our community that have stepped up to the plate to volunteer time, talent, and sometimes a little money of their own.

Our Mission

The mission of the Teton Arts Council is to develop, nurture, and celebrate our cultural life through education, performances, exhibitions, and community opportunities.
